First identify the base. Then divide qualifying turnover by the contribution fraction. Never read the result as a cost, profit forecast or instruction to continue gambling.
The missing half of the headline
A multiplier without a base is an incomplete calculation. “25× the bonus” and “25× the deposit plus bonus” can describe very different wagering targets even when the same deposit receives the same promotional amount. The first question is therefore not whether the multiplier looks low. It is which balance the multiplier applies to.
The examples in this guide are hypothetical and use units, not a live casino offer or a particular currency. Suppose the deposit is 100 units and the bonus is another 100. A bonus-only requirement of 25× gives 100 × 25 = 2,500 qualifying units. A deposit-plus-bonus requirement gives (100 + 100) × 25 = 5,000 qualifying units. The words after the multiplier double the result.
Qualifying turnover is not the same as total stakes
Contribution is the fraction of an eligible stake credited towards a target. The published BitStarz and 888casino policies contain contribution distinctions; the exact rule must come from the relevant offer and permitted game. [1] [2]
For our hypothetical 2,500-unit target, a game contributing 100% would require 2,500 units of qualifying stakes. At 50%, the arithmetic equivalent becomes 5,000 units staked. At 10%, it becomes 25,000. These figures assume every bet is allowed and the contribution stays constant. They are not a prediction that a balance can fund the play.
At 0% contribution, wagering on that game does not advance the target. Dividing by zero does not produce a very large achievable requirement; there is no finite qualifying total through that game. What the calculation deliberately leaves out
The output is turnover exposure. It is not a forecast of deposits required, winnings, losses, completion probability or time spent. Those depend on factors the arithmetic does not model. A player can lose the available balance before completing a requirement.
A maximum-bet clause, excluded game, expiry, cashout cap or balance restriction can matter independently of the equation. Do not raise stakes or deposit again merely to finish a calculation. A correct number does not mean the promotion is suitable or that completing it is financially sensible.
The calculator uses a single contribution rate. For mixed games, the qualifying contributions from each settled eligible bet would need to be added. That is a different record-keeping task from assuming one rate for the entire session. Do not substitute the most favourable game rate for all activity.
A comparison you can actually make
Write the base, multiplier, eligible contribution and restrictive clauses next to each other. Compare matching currencies and the same type of requirement. If one term is missing, do not quietly fill it with a default from another offer.
Two offers with identical calculated turnover can still differ materially. One may expire earlier, treat bonus cancellation differently or limit converted winnings. Our calculation is a way to expose one dimension of the contract, not to award a winning offer.
Use the completed result as a reading aid. Declining a bonus, or choosing not to gamble, remains a valid conclusion. No promotional deadline changes that.
